BRETT RICKABY (IMDB) is an actor and playwright whose film credits include THE ASSASSINATION OF RICHARD NIXON with Sean Penn, Wes Craven's CURSED, HOW TO KILL YOUR NEIGHBOR'S DOG with Kenneth Branagh, BUG, THE SCOUT and DIARY OF A HITMAN directed by the late Roy London, among others. He has appeared in numerous guest star and recurring roles on television including THE GUARDIAN, CARNIVALE, THE PRACTICE, JUDGING AMY, J.A.G., DRAGNET, ANGEL and LAW & ORDER. He appeared as young Frank Gorshin (the Riddler) in the CBS movie BACK TO THE BATCAVE. TIM GLENN is an award winning actor and writer who began his professional career as a teenager at the famed American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where in addition to performing in main stage productions for three years he studied with legendary teachers like Alan Fletcher, Edith Skinner and William Ball. He went on to study at the Drama Studio London and earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of San Francisco. After a few years working in theatre and film Tim was about change careers to become a Naval Aviator when he received an offer to attend New York University’s Graduate Acting Program on a full scholarship. He attended NYU with many fellow students who went on to prominent careers including Camryn Manheim, Marcia Gay Harden, Rainn Wilson and Peter Krause. He studied with teachers like Ron Van Lieu, Michael Kahn, Zelda Fichandler, Rosemarie Tichler and Paul Walker, and worked with directors like Tony Kushner and Larry Sacharow. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree and is a member of NYU Tisch West Alumni Council.
As a professional Tim has worked at theatres like A.C.T, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, South Coast Repertory, B Street Theatre, Aurora Theatre, Native Voices, the Public Theatre and the New York Theatre Workshop, among others. He has played leading roles in film and television and worked with actors like Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Dennis Quaid, Gary Sinise, Goldie Hawn, Jack Nicholson, and Ben Gazzara. He has done many voiceovers for television, radio and video games. He was the Apple OS8 guy.
Tim has also written for film and television, his adaptation of Chekhov’s The Seagull, written with director Adrienne Weiss, is set to begin filming in May 2007. He is the author of several other screenplays in various stages of development. He wrote the award winning short A Tender Balance. As a screenwriter he is represented by manager Andrew Tennenbaum of Flashpoint Entertainment and attorney Geoff Oblath of Jackoway Tyerman.
As a teacher he has taught in conjunction with theatres across the country, was Artist in Residence at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and currently teaches at the David Kagen School of Film Acting.
Tim has traveled all over the world and has a passion for mountaineering. He has been part of two Himalayan expeditions; the 1998 Annapurna 1 South Face Expedition, which attempted to be the first American team to scale Annapurna’s South Face, and the Everest Friendship Beyond Borders Expedition, which succeeded in getting the first climber with an artificial leg to the summit of the world’s highest mountain.
Chief among his accomplishments, however, is being father to three wonderful kids, Lily, Austin and Joe. Tim is the acting teacher for our Sunday afternoon on camera acting classes in Los Angeles.
MARK BRADY -- On television Mark currently has a recurring role on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and had a recurring role on the soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL. His other appearances include PASSIONS, BLIND JUSTICE, NYPD BLUE and CITY OF ANGELS, among others. Mark wrote the TV pilot REFERENCE POINT and is currently finishing work on another one to be shot in New York. His film credits include THE LOST WORLD directed by Steven Spielberg; IN THE LAND OF MILK AND HONEY written and directed by Susan Emschwiller, writer of Pollack with Ed Harris; THE WANT and SIDE TRACKED. Most recently, Mark can be seen in Nic Betthauer’s DUCK with Philip Baker Hall. Mark is an actor and writer who started his career after receiving a BFA in acting from New York University where he was exposed to the teachings of Strasberg, Meisner, Adler and Chekhov. He left New York for Los Angeles when he was cast in the play, The Rooming House by Conrad Bromberg. ANDREW BORBA (IMDB) directed HAMLET: THE FIRST QUARTO, A COMEDY OF ERRORS, MACBETH, TWELFTH NIGHT, Brian Friel's LOVERS and has written & directed three original plays titled GARGOYLES, PIECES, and REFLECTIONS OF A NAKED PRIEST. He is currently writing a new play about Punctuated Equilibrium and painting. As an actor, Andrew was a member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for four seasons, where he appeared in OTHELLO, ARCADIA, TWO GENTELMEN OF VERONA, and PENTECOST, among others. Other credits include THE COUNTESS, PERICLES (The Old Globe Theater, San Diego); CLOSER (Berkeley Repertory Theatre); THE MISANTHROPE (Dallas Theater Center); MRS. PAUL MESSINGER spent a summer, at age 17, as an acting intern with the Cleveland Playhouse. It was also in Cleveland that Paul made his professional debut in THE FRONT PAGE. He was directed by Margaret Hamilton, who was famous for her role as the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of OZ. After High School Paul attended Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. While in Chicago, Paul worked with a number of theatre companies including The Goodman Stage and Travellight. He eventually moved to New York when an opportunity to study with Lee Strasberg arose. Paul studied with Mr. Strasberg for three years in conjunction with NYU’s School of Drama, earning his BFA in 1981. During his 16-year stay in New York, Paul continued his professional pursuits by becoming a founding member and ultimately Artistic Director of The Actor’s Complex, a company devoted to nurturing and producing works by new writers and staged by new actors and designers. He also worked extensively in the Off Broadway arena, including an extended run at Papermill Playhouse of SUITE IN TWO KEYS. He also helped to form and perform with The Improv Olympics. For three years Paul could be seen as Oscar on ALL MY CHILDREN. Paul has appeared in numerous TV shows including The Gilmore Girls, Seventh Heaven, The Practice, Santa Barbara, Party of Five, Close to Home and many others. SARAH HUDNUT is
actor, writer and teacher who lives in Los Angeles with her family. Her
theatre work includes shows at the Huntington, the Ahmanson, the
Williamstown Theatre Festival (four seasons), Westport Country
Playhouse, Portland Stage Company, NY Stage & Film and The Sundance
Theatre Lab. Favorite stage roles include Varya in Anton Chekov's The
Cherry Orchard, Catherine in David Auburn’s Proof, Agnes in Eric
Bogosian’s Red Angel, and Sorel Bliss in Noel Coward’s Hay Fever. Sarah
has appeared on numerous television shows, including Medium (CBS), Mr
& Mrs. Smith (ABC Pilot), Surface (NBC), Judging Amy (CBS), Sex and
the City (HBO), ER (NBC), Diagnosis Murder (CBS) and Joint Custody (WB
Pilot). She can also be seen in the films: Sunshine Cleaning, American
Gangster, Purple Violets, Definitely, Maybe, The Cold Snap and Unfair
& Unbalanced. Sarah received a Bachelor of Science in Communication
from Northwestern University and a Master of Fine Arts from New York
University.
